| New members complete A3 board |
|
SAN DIEGO—The American Academy of Arts (A3) announces the addition of three members to its board,
completing the non-profit's organizational structure. Joining A3 chief executive officer Stan Foster and
chief opererational officer Ross Kallen:
Steven Bonica, former vice president of Advanced Technology Research and Development for NBC; former
president and COO of Panasonic Broadcast and Television Systems, where he played a key role in five international Olympic broadcasts.
Michael Steven Gregory, A3 president; president of Random Cove, LLC; executive director of the Southern
California Writers' Conference, which has facilitated nearly $3 million in book and screen deals
for new authors over its 18 years.
Cindy Tollin, former production executive, The Walt Disney Co./Buena Vista Television; former VP
operations of Global Satellite Network, where she produced "Rockline," the first national
live-via-satellite radio show that set the standard for many others that followed.
The American Academy of Arts provides programs that offer hands-on, project-based learning with a focus on digital media.
Bringing in professional television and film producers, directors, graphics specialists and production teams to mentor
students, its unique approach to education provides real-world experience on both professional-level and student projects,
utilizing the latest media technology. Programs sponsored by A3 have won numerous awards at the state, national and
international levels. Most recently its programs received recognition for student Television Excellence from the National
Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
