| We, The Screenwriter finally finished |
|
After four and a half years of sporadic production, further complicated by a traffic accident that all but destroyed
the original film, Michael Steven Gregory's We, The Screenwriter has been completed.
The feature-length "doculogue" unites 16 film and television writers for a richly entertaining and often surprisingly
revealing exploration of the personality, process and profession of being a writer working in today's Hollywood. Among
those appearing in the film are Shane Black (Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang, The Long Kiss Goodnight), Frank Cappello
(He Was a Quiet Man, Constantine), Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek: The Next
Generation) and Daniel Pyne (The Manchurian Candidate, The Sum of all Fears).
While efforts are now underway to secure distribution and limited festival exhibition, Random Cove has made available the
first eight minutes of the film for viewing online. A trailer will be released shortly.
