. We, The Writer Doculogue (1996); 57 minutes Directed by Michael Steven Gregory Updated November 28, 2005; Read Latest News Called "Possibly the greatest conversation about writing ever overheard!" We, The Writer features 25 accomplished authors, including David Brin (The Postman), Sharon Ihle (Maggie's Wish), Joseph Wambaugh (The Onion Field), Mark Clements (Children of the End), Nancy Holder (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Alan Russell (Shame), Leroy Quintana (The History of Home) and Quincy Troupe (Miles and Me) to provide candid insight into the Byzantine and often bittersweet world of writing and publishing. Specifically for the educational system, the We, The Writer Academic License Package features a complete transcript of the film along with an 18-page syllabus prepared by noted professors Nancy Farnan and Leif Fearn, specialists in teaching teachers how to teach creative writing, specifically tailored for both classroom and group instruction.
